Onnit Krill oil has been available for a long while as a part of the Total Primate Care package. I can’t say exactly why it took this long, but as of last week, the krill oil capsules are now available on their own at the Onnit website. I like to think that I know a lot about Onnit products, both the ones currently available and the ones in the pipeline, but krill oil was something that was new to me. I’ve written about fish oil and its benefits for this blog before, but decided to investigate krill oil and its health benefits a little further.
So what exactly is a krill? Turns out that it also comes from the ocean–every ocean has krill, actually–but it’s a small crustacean rather than a fish.
